Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (PROHIBITION REPEAL) (6-1) - He tired at this tag going six furlongs June 10 at Santa Anita. It was his first since March 24 and this veteran has won here in the past. Gets a slight edge in a competitive finale.
2nd pick: #7 (Jet Seeker) (7-2) - One of several that race in abbreviated sprints at night here, he was a winner going 4.5 furlongs just two weeks ago. Stalker should have no problem with the additional furlong and was competitive in early December here with this longer stretch in place that afternoon.
3rd pick: #8 (Bound for Heaven) (5-1) - One of two from the locally based barn of Kelly Castaneda, he's stretching out following a sharp third place finish here going 4.5 furlongs June 24. He has a fine record with the longer stretch in place 9-1-5-0 and is 10-2-4-0 at this distance in the past.
4th pick: #4 (Boompa) (4-1) - He raced evenly when finishing four lengths in front of'Prohibition Repeal' June 10 at Santa Anita. Once a bit classier, he's a stretch threat here if able to stay within range in the early stages.
5th pick: #5 (Warren's Cole) (12-1) - The second from the Castaneda barn, old timer is in good form. He's stepping up a bit while going a furlong longer. Can impact, but needs to do better for anything more than a minor award.
