2nd pick: #2 (Wheedle) (5-1) - $350,000 daughter of 'Flatter' overcame a slow start to finish second when debuting Aug. 26 at this level and distance at Saratoga. Working fast locally, she's an obvious win candidate and I almost made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #3 (Vomba) (8-1) - Debuting daughter of'Candy Ride' has some sharp works on view for a capable barn (Al Stall Jr.). Trainer wins at a 29% rate first out and it's of note that Jose Ortiz takes the mount.
4th pick: #4 (Paper Clip) (7-2) - Filly finished a close-up third sprinting on the grass at Kentucky Downs Sept. 13. It was a big move forward off her debut at Saratoga July 28 and she must be left in the mix.
