Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (MRS ROCCO) (3-1) - Filly has some positive changes today that could land her in the winner's circle. She races second back following a 100 day layoff, drops to a new low, has the rail, and is stretching out in distance. Trainer Brad Cox is having a spectacular meet (12 for 23, 52%) and he wins at a 32% rate on the distance stretch.
2nd pick: #6 (Lucky Move) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, 4-year-old ships from the Fair Grounds where she broke her maiden going a mile on a sloppy surface for a $25,000 claiming price March 11. Strong finisher has worked three times since, is nicely spotted by trainer Mark Casse, and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #7 (My Kinda Devil) (5-1) - Mare drops down from $30,000 to $10K and is switching back to the dirt. She raced evenly on the Fair Grounds turf March 25 but had finished a distant second on the main track in an 'off the turf' contest Jan. 28. That was her only previous attempt in 13 lifetime starts on conventional dirt and she should be making up some ground during the stretch run.
