2nd pick: #10 (Lil Meatball) (2-1) - Speedball takes a big drop following a pair of sub-par efforts here after coming back from an almost 7-month layoff Dec. 19. A stakes winner here a year ago, he's an obvious win candidate at a short price.
3rd pick: #8 (Doc Kane) (5-1) - Nicely bred 5yo finished 3rd of 8, beaten a length racing at this tag and trip Feb. 6. It was his second start back following two months on the sidelines and he runs today off a claim by Armando De La Cerda (a 22% winning angle). He's dangerous at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Colormepompom) (12-1) - Longshot was only 1.5 lengths in back of 'Doc Kane' last out in his first start in 7 weeks. The 7yo should move forward and is a threat from 'off the pace' at a big price.
