Top pick: #10 (CORINTHIAN LEATHER) - She did well to finish fourth last out racing at this price as she "hit the gate" at the break, then had to "check" just past the 1/2 mile pole. Claimed that day by Kirk Ziadie, he brings her back quickly and at the purchase price. She draws a nice post at this trip and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Ainsley) - Longshot showed good speed when debuting at Monmouth in late October, then had a troubled trip going two-turns on the grass here on Dec. 9. Working very fast for this, and trainer Greg Sacco will drop her into a claimer for the first time. Can factor for the win.
3rd pick: #5 (Quiet Tiara) - She has consistently shown sharp early speed and last out was beaten 3 lengths facing fellow Florida-breds in a grass sprint on Dec. 10. Drops back into a claimer and she can factor in this spot.
4th pick: #3 (Hard Rock Girl) - Grey filly ran evenly when debuting for this price at Calder just over a month ago. Not a bad first effort and she could grab a small share at a big price.
