2nd pick: #1 (Zaya) (4-1) - A $110,000 gelding by 'Cairo Prince', he's racing second back following a 6.5-month layoff and has several changes that make him a win candidate. 3yo is dropping into a claimer, is on the grass for the first time, and moves from an outside post last out to the rail. He has sharp early speed and I almost made him the top selection.
3rd pick: #3 (Come on Venezuela) (3-1) - One run type has finished second in 4 of his last 6 starts, all at or near this claiming price at this 5-furlong trip. Colt was just under a length better than 'Overleveraged' last out and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #9 (Luckytobeinamerica) (10-1) - A NEW gelding, he's dropping to a new low in price and is racing on the grass for the first time. He has a bot of speed and his outside post will give rider Paco Lopez some early options.
