2nd pick: #1 (Distinctly Blue) (3-1) - State-bred missed by a 'neck' at this tag and trip Feb. 1. It was her first ever on the grass and it earned her a career-best figure. Sent one mile in a $60K stakes in her follow up Feb. 18, she weakened to finish off the board after attending a solid pace. Down in class and shortening up in distance, she has the rail and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (For Reef's Sake) (9-2) - Much improved in her last pair, she rallied while wide to break her maiden here at this distance for a $20K price tag Feb. 21. In a good barn (Mark Casse), this filly is clearly getting better and is a late threat.
