Bred for grass success, she has a fine post and is working steadily for her first start since Dec. 17. She gets a slight edge int his one.
2nd pick: #5 (Figarella's Queen) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she set a pressured pace and held gamely to miss by a 1/2 length racing here at this level Jan. 27. It was her first since a late Sept. dirt debut, and this $250K purchase is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Soar From Shadows) (10-1) - Longshot is moving to the grass and trying a two-turn distance, both for the first time. Daughter of 'Bernardini' lost all chances last out when bumped at the break, and I think she's a threat at a very big price today.
4th pick: #9 (In the Moonlight) (12-1) - Blinkers go on this $675,000 daughter of 'Tapit,' who was only beaten 1.5 lengths when debuting here Dec. 17. Trainer Mark Casse (18% second time out) has given her some time off, and she should show whatever she has in this spot.
