He had to check hard nearing the 1/4 pole before getting clear to rally. A grey gelding by 'Uncle Mo', he should win this with a trouble-free journey.
2nd pick: #1 (Indurate ) (6-1) - Price play enters off a rather poor effort here Jan. 3. He was at this $20K tag for the first time and had a nice spot entering the far turn but tired from there to the finish. However, it was his first start in almost 5.5 months and think this $275K gelding by 'Kitten's Joy' will be competitive from his ground-saving post.
3rd pick: #2 (Bunyan's Axe) (8-1) - He rallied late to finish only a 1/2 length behind 'More Mo' here Dec. 26. It was by far a career best in six starts and he's a threat if it's repeatable.
