She's from a good barn (Marc Vitali) and he's breezed her four times locally since Dec. 16.
2nd pick: #2 (Secret Alchemy) (6-1) - Longshot ships from New York where she tired when debuting Oct. 13 at Belmont Park in a 7-furlong contest facing tougher. The race was taken 'off the turf' and she's been training steadily on the grass course at Palm Meadows for this attempt. Trainer Jeremiah Englehart (27% second time out), drops her into a claimer (33%), and he has Jose Ortiz aboard.
3rd pick: #11 (Quick Point) (4-1) - From the barn of Todd Pletcher, this Repole Stable filly raced evenly while never involved when debuting facing a bit tougher Nov. 25 at Gulfstream Park West. Pletcher (29% second time out), drops her down, has Luis Saez aboard, and she should factor in this weak group.
4th pick: #1 (Princess Gaby) (30-1) - Blinkers go on filly who has some early speed and is breaking from the rail. Huge longshot will probably be sent hard and will take them as far as she can in this spot.
