Speedy and lightly raced, he finished 3rd here Feb. 17 and was just under a length in back of today's rival, #2 -'Dixie Pulpit.' He has the rail, blinkers on, and is making back-to-back starts for the first time. I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Dixie Pulpit) (9-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, he finished 2nd when debuting here Feb. 17. Bet down to 5-2, he was involved every step while almost a length in front of 'Runformefreddielee.' An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Bel's Blessing) (4-1) - The second of the pair from trainer Bill Delia, he's been competitive in three of his last four and finished 2nd at this tag and trip Jan. 27. A fast and/or contested pace would help his chances out.
