2nd pick: #4 (Beer Thirst) (2-1) - One of three making their first starts, home bred ships up from Santa Anita where he's been in steady training since late January. A home bred by 'Stay Thirsty', he's in the barn of Tim Yakteen, 4 for 20 (20%) with debuting stock in 2019-20.
3rd pick: #5 (Synthetic Joe) (10-1) - NEW gelding has been idle since Nov. 30. Very wide when debuting at Emerald Downs Sep 8, he stumbled at the break and was bumped heavily here last out. Both races had stronger fields than this and think he's capable of factoring at a big price.
