This daughter of 'Haynesfield' makes her local debut and has gone 13-3-4-2 competing all over the midwest circuit. Trainer Tom Amoss is 24-of-55 (44%) at this meet and this filly looks set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #1 (Cat's Eternalflame) (3-1) - A lightly raced 5yo mare by 'Point Given', she's won two of her four starts and is moving up in class in her first following a Karl Broberg claim. The trainer is by far the leader in the standings (82-of-266 (31%), and he wins at a 24% clip first off the claim.
3rd pick: #2 (Just You Wait) (6-1) - This filly moves up in class following four straight wins facing weaker. Speed/stalker is 3-for-3 at Delta Downs and I think she'll be competitive at a square price despite facing much tougher.
4th pick: #3 (Harper Bee) (12-1) - Longshot broke poorly but rallied to finish 5th of 8, beaten almost 4 lengths here facing weaker Jan. 9. She was competitive several times during the summer at this level and a fast/and or contested pace would help her chances out.
