3rd pick: #2 (Rijeka ) (7-2) - This Irish import broke his maiden here at this distance in his U.S. debut Aug. 12. He then tired here in a $100K stakes Sept. 2 before a 3rd place finish in another $100G event Oct. 8 at Santa Anita. Given an eight-week break, he must be left in the mix.
