It was his first in 45 days and strong finisher should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into. He gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Signature Cat) (5-2) - He's dropping back down following a wide and even effort for twice this tag July 10 at Santa Anita. Speed/stalker had gone 4-1-3-0 prior to that with all of those coming at this level. A strong factor today.
3rd pick: #1 (Spirit Rules) (3-1) - The main speed every time he runs and former stakes winner breaks from the rail. He's been tiring on a regular basis, but all have come facing much tougher. He's taking a big drop in class and the last time he raced locally, 7-year-old was a seven length wire-to-wire winner a year ago. Very dangerous.
