Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (COMBUSTIBLE) (3-1) - He won at this $30K tag and distance Feb 7 at the Fair Grounds, then raced evenly in his follow up facing tougher April 14 at Keeneland. Back down in price and on a quick turnaround (13 days), I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Sekomdi) (10-1) - Longshot is stretching out in distance while dropping in class in his 2nd back from almost a 6 month layoff. He was sharp sprinting in his return April 18 at Keeneland and has won twice at this longer trip in the past.
3rd pick: #7 (Shared Value) (9-2) - A strong finisher, he was an easy winner at the Fair Grounds for a $15K tag Jan 5 and was sent in for a two month break at that time. He rallied from far back to miss by 1.5 lengths facing tougher March 5 and is nicely spotted today by a good barn (Tom Amoss). A win candidate.
4th pick: #8 (Jailhouse Kitten) (7-2) - He has no early speed but takes a big drop in class after finishing within a reasonable in four starts at the Fair Grounds facing tougher. Colt must be left in the mix.
