In the barn f Chad Brown (30% off of long layoffs), he had her training at Payson Park this past winter and she looks all set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #6 (Mike's Girl) (7-2) - Filly is another coming offa layoff (Nov 24), A daughter of superior turf sire 'Scat Daddy', she was extremely wide here in a 6 furlong contest on the grass as the favorite when last in action. She had just missed in a grass sprint at Saratoga Aug 16 and is a threat if ready.
3rd pick: #3 (Plink Freud) (4-1) - Yet another coming off a layoff (Nov 9), she's finished close up in all three starts, each on the grass at this level. She missed by just under a length going a mile at Aqueduct before the break and was only 1.5 lengths behind 'Mike's Girl' when debuting Aug 16 at Saratoga.
4th pick: #9 (Linda's Ballet) (6-1) - She's one on two entered by trainer Linda Rice and the pair race uncoupled. Home bred raced evenly when debuting at this level March 22 at Aqueduct on a sloppy surface. Rice wins at an excellent 34% rate 2nd time out and this filly should like the switch to the grass.
