He's worked there very fast twice before shipping to Belmont and he looks set to break his maiden.
2nd pick: #2 (Hold My Call) (7-2) - Colt showed good early speed before weakening late to finish 4th of 9, beaten 3.5 lengths debuting in a Saratoga sprint at this level Aug 23. He draws a better post and enters off a sharp 3 furlong work here Sep 10.
3rd pick: #6 (Ariesberg) (6-1) - He's one of three making their debuts and is from the barn of veteran Chris Englehart 23% first out (24 of 106) in 2018-19. Grey gelding worked a solid half-mile from the gate here Sep 8 and it's noted that Luis Saez is aboard.
4th pick: #1 (Harris Bay) (8-1) - Another making his first start, $170K purchase has a fine series of works on view. Bred for speed, he has the rail and is a threat with an alert break.
