In her previous start she missed by less than a length here at this distance when debuting July 1. Home bred will be tough to beat in this spot.
2nd pick: #7 (Pound Note) (9-2) - She enters off a solid debut Aug. 17 at Saratoga. Racing at this level going 5.5 furlongs, she rallied while wide to finish 2nd of 10, beaten just over two lengths. Can factor with today with normal second out improvement.
3rd pick: #9 (Southern Gal) (7-2) - Debuting daughter of 'Scat Daddy' sold for $135,000 as a 2yo in training this past May. Her latest three works are all on the quick side, including a bullet half-mile here from the gate Sept. 5.
4th pick: #4 (Lady of Miracles) (6-1) - Blinkers go on this filly who finished 2nd when debuting July 21 at Saratoga. In her follow up race there Aug. 28, she had a wide trip and some serious traffic issues during the early stages. Can factor today at a square price.
