She did not race in her native land as a 2yo in 2018 and enters off a sharp maiden win at this distance Aug. 2 at Monmouth Park. Given almost a six week break, barn has her well spotted and Javier Castellano is signed on.
2nd pick: #6 (Fierce Scarlett) (7-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's the other filly from the barn of Chad Brown. A $320,000 daughter of 'Scat Daddy', she missed by a 'neck' at this level going a mile Jan. 21 at Gulfstream Park. Competitive in all four starts, she spent the summer here instead of Saratoga and has worked five times locally since Aug. 4. A very strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Ever Changing) (8-1) - A home bred daughter of 'Tapit'. she raced four times in England as a 2yo in 2018 but did not win any of those. Brought back to No. America, she rallied to get her maiden win going a mile at Colonial Downs Aug. 8. It was her first race since Nov. 17, and she has plenty of room for upside.
4th pick: #5 (Xanthique) (5-1) - She rallied to finish a close up third going a mile at Saratoga in a $100K stakes Aug. 22. Stalker is two for two at Belmont and is capable of factoring with her normal effort.
