Top pick: #5 (ARTEMIS PAPERBOY) (2-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old tries winners for the first time this afternoon. He broke his maiden here going 6-furlongs on a muddy surface just 10 days ago in his second start off a Dave Jacobson claim and a subsequent 7-week break. Nicely spotted today, and unlike many of the others he's on a form upswing and has move for improvement. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #9 (Perfect Disco) (4-1) - Very lightly-raced home bred has early speed and is making back-to-back starts for the first time sine last winter. The four-year-old tired badly last out, but it was his first in almost four months and it's nice to see trainer Gary Gullo bring him back quickly for this.

3rd pick: #3 (Patty and Nooche) (5-2) - He enters off a rallying 3rd place finish here facing tougher on Sept. 6. Nice effort and trainer Dom Schettino drops him into a career soft spot this afternoon.

4th pick: #1 (Keltic Fighter) (12-1) - Stalker tired to finish a distant third here at this level Sept. 11. It was his first since May 10th and he should be much more competitive for this attempt. Draws the rail and may grab a slice at a square price.
