2nd pick: #7 (Small Invasion) (5-1) - A debuting gelding by 'Normandy Invasion', he's been in steady training at his owner's Colt's Neck Center and is from a capable barn Jorge Duarte Jr. Trainer wins at a 17% rate first out and it's noted that Irad Ortiz Jr is aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Shandian) (3-1) - He's making start six today and speed/stalker has been competitive in three of five facing tougher. In a claimer for the first time, colt must be left in the mix.
