2nd pick: #1 (Climb the Ladder) (5-1) - Home bred by 'Bellamy Road' finished a pace-setting second Jan. 2 after being sent hard from her inside post. In her follow up Feb. 17, she raced wide before tiring after breaking from an outside draw (9th of 9). Back on the rail, she's a win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (Card Doll) (12-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since Jan. 19. Daughter of 'Tizway' has a new trainer (Ollie Figgins) and he drops her down while adding blinkers. She's working steadily at his home base of Laurel in Maryland, look for this 3yo to be competitive for the first time.
4th pick: #9 (Formal Event) (5-2) - Lightly-raced filly rallied to finish a distant second at this level going a mile here Feb. 23. Barn shortens her up and she's an obvious threat, but her outside post hurts her chances and think she's beatable at a short price.
