Speed/stalker is working steadily at the 'Big A' and enters off a sharp half-mile breeze Dec. 4. The rail is his for the taking, and I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Baseline) (5-1) - Another that's taking a huge drop after tiring here facing tougher Nov. 17. He has good early speed, receives a rider upgrade, and I think he'll be involved every step at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Fillet of Sole) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, he finished 2nd here at this level going seven furlongs Nov. 11. It was his second back from almost an eight-week break, and he's now been competitive in all three start at his $14,000 tag at the 3l condition. An obvious contender, but at a short price.
