Top pick: #3 (JUSTIN PHILLIP) - Price play had no chance last out in the G1 Vosburgh as he was "bumped" soundly at the start and was forced to race wide on a muddy track. Prior to that he finished third to "Caleb's Posse" (who won yesterday's Breeder's Cup dirt mile) and that came at this tricky 7 furlong trip. The horse to beat, he's one of two entered by trainer Steve Asmussen ( the other #2 Rule by Night) and the pair will race uncoupled.

2nd pick: #6 (Flat Bold) - Claimed in late August at Saratoga by Rudy Rodriguez for $75K, gelding finished a close-up third in a small stakes at Belmont on Oct. 3 in his first for the new barn. Stalker draws a nice outside post for this trip and is a major player today.

3rd pick: #4 (Sangaree) - He's been all over the world in his 22-race career and is working very fast for his first race since losing by a neck at Saratoga in early August to the hard-hitting Rule going 9 furlongs. Cuts-back in distance, races off a two month break, and is a threat with his best.
