She was never involved sprinting here as the favorite March 23, but she broke awkwardly, and was bumped at the break. Home bred has the rail, meets a weak field, and should like this longer trip.
2nd pick: #5 (Zecha) (10-1) - Longshot has had legitimate excuses in both starts. She finished an even 4th sprinting in her debut here Feb. 24 while seven-wide during the final three furlongs. In her follow up at this mile trip March 30, she again checked in 4th after breaking in the air. Daughter of 'The Factor' is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Pursuing Justice) (5-2) - Home bred filly by 'To Honor and Serve' had no chance after a terrible start when debuting here going six furlongs just 15 days ago. Part of a heavily favored entry that afternoon, trainer Linda Rice (26% second time out) stretches her out in distance (27%), and Broman runner must be left in the mix.
