(# 1) Straight Razor - Drops to lowest level yet for trainer John Shaw who is off to good beginning at this meeting. Throw out his latest over the turf and his three dirt tries at Calder against better would put him in the thick of it here. Rail draw helps him save some ground.

(# 2) Sybaris - Lost all chance in initial try at Tampa when she checked at the start. Still was able to split the field in good effort.

(#'s 3 and 4) Showgun and Blues Muse - Showgun was bumped in only appearance to date at Calder against a bit better. Trainer Norm Pointer wins his share of races. Blues Muse actually out-finished our top pick but did not lose as much ground as her. Lasix added for this.
