Result:
LOSS

Wyoming's offense is even worse than we thought as it lost 38-6 to Illinois and QB Andrew Peasley completed only five passes for 30 yards in 20 attempts. The Cowboys did rush for 182 yards on 31 carries, but the defense allowed 260 yards on the ground, inclduing 151 yards by Chris Brown. Wyoming obviously missed star wide receiver Isaiah Neyor, who transferred to Texas, and the Cowboys went 1-for-12 on third down conversions and came up short on their only fourth down conversion attempt. They'll continue to run the ball, but opposing defenses will focus on that knowing the Cowboys have no passing game. Tulsa comes off a 7-6 season and has a rebuilt offensive line that still is a question mark and is the key to how the offense will perform behind QB Davis Brin, who is in his second season as a full-time starter and threw 18 touchdown passes in 2021, but also 16 interceptions. Tulsa averaged 26 points per game last year and the Golden Hurricane are 6-1 UNDER their past seven games versus the Mountain West Conference, 10-3-1 UNDER their past 14 non-conference games overall. Also, Tulsa is 8-2-1 UNDER its past 11 September games. Wyoming has gone UNDER 10 of 14 after giving up at least 200 yards rushing its previous game. Play the UNDER.
