Winthrop at Baylor

This is a Baylor team that is still under the radar, but may not be for long. They knocked out a ND team that is expected to challenge in the Big East. This is a team that made a lot of progress last year dropping two games to Texas by one and five points, and another to Oklahoma by four and also had a win over Texas Tech. All five starters are back from that team, and with the addition of top-20 recruit LaceDarius Dunn (9.3-ppg, 5.3-rpg, 2.3 steals) the Bears have a lot of talent and experience. Winthrop is an inexperienced team that to date has beaten inexperienced teams. They are still on the public radar after two good NCAA runs, but those players are gone. The nucleus that is left is good, but the experience will be the determining factor here, and Baylor will come away with the win.
