Troy has won two of its last three games after beating Georgia State 54-53 on Saturday as both teams shot poorly from the field. John Walton III made a layup with 10 seconds left after Wesley Person drilled a three-point shot with 34 seconds remaining and Shawn Hopkins then sealed the win with a block at the buzzer. Walton led the Trojans with 16 points and eight rebounds and Person added 14 points. South Alabama has split its last four games following an 80-76 win against Georgia Southern as Georgi Boyanov finished with 20 points and nine rebounds. The Jaguars shot 53.8 percent although on the season they average just 41.2 percent from the field.
