Tennessee State at Middle Tenn State

Middle Tennessee State opened their season last year at 20-2 and is surprising everyone. They are out of the gate at 7-3, but this is not the same team, and they have built high expectations and a following with their stellar performance a year ago. They aren't surprising anyone, and have dropped their three toughest games. Tennessee State is just 5-6, but a lot of that is due to an aggressive schedule, and they have battled to within 13 points of every game they have played vs. a team not over their head so to speak. The expectations are exceeding reality for the Blue Raiders, and are not up to task of taking down big numbers at home, at just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 at home. Tennessee St. gets the nod.
