Rice vs. UTEP

UTEP has won three of its last four games following a 77-62 victory over Southern Miss on Saturday, after losing to the Golden Eagles in overtime the day before. The Miners outscored Southern Miss 47-33 in the second half and shot 50 percent for the game and Jamal Bieniemy led the team with 20 points. Rice was picked to finish last in the Conference USA, but the Owls appear to be overachieving with an 8-2 record although the schedule gets tougher as they get into conference play. UTEP won and covered all three meetings last season and it is 8-2 ATS its last 10 games overall while covering four of five against teams with winning records.
