Evansville brought back four starters this season and has to be disappointed with their ugly 4-12 start to the season. They had an extended covid-19 layoff, which didn't help as they went 25 days at one point without a game. They have played a tough schedule, and most of their conference games have come from teams at the top of the conference. Illinois State has played five straight games as a dog, but now they will have much different role-playing as a home favorite.
