Appalachian State at Furman

The Paladins haven't seen their home court since an opening win on November 14th. The Paladins suffered through a seven win season last year, but now 3rd year coach Jeff Jackson has a nucleus of his recruited players and ready to take a step forward. Furman has shot well on the road which is an indicator that this team has the ability to score, especially on its home floor. Justin Dehm knocked down 63 from long range last year and two others have stepped up to knock down 50% this season. Appalachian St. has lost most of its interior players and the guards continue to struggle. The Mountaineers have made 85 turnovers to just 64 assists and three of their top six scorers are connecting on 42% or less. They have already dropped their first two on the road and this one could be the third if they are not careful. I like the points here and Furman gets the call.
