OK, now on to this week’s free pick. For Week 1 I am taking a look at the game between the defending NFC Champs in the LA Rams traveling to the Carolina Panthers. The LA Rams got to the Super Bowl, but the high-powered offense fell flat. Carolina started the season last year at 6-2 but as the health of QB Cam Newton deteriorated, so did the Panthers.
