Wyoming at Fresno State

Fresno State is still one win away from clinching a bye in the opening round of the Mountain West Conference tournament. That is because the Bulldogs have lost their last two games, including 64-61 at home to Air Force as a 12.5-point favorite. Now they're being asked to cover an even bigger number against Wyoming with the potential of taking the lowly Cowboys lightly. Fresno State shot only 35.1 percent against Air Force and then improved to only 44.8 percent at Nevada. The Bulldogs won the first meeting 75-62 for a push and Wyoming beat the Bulldogs 78-68 on this court in last season's final meeting. Obviously, there will be no pressure on the Cowboys, so look for them to cover the huge point spread. Play Wyoming against the spread. Also take a small flyer on them for the outright upset.
