Top pick: #3 (FOREST MAID) - Filly didn't show much in three starts here last season when she was two-years-old, but has come back from a five month winter/spring break a much better filly and has finished second in her pair of return starts. Three-year-old has drawn tough outside posts in both of her efforts and draws a much better slot in this small field. Trainer Kevin Attard removes her blinkers today and this 9-furlong distance is a big plus for her style. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Tabanka) - Has also returned off of the break here a better filly and has finished right behind Forest Maid in both of her return starts. Has more positional speed than most and moves off the inside for this attempt. Should contend in this spot.
