West Virginia at South Florida

The Bulls were poised and fired up for this game which should have been for the Big East title, but a certain Husky team derailed those hopes last weekend. We predicted a down week for S. Florida in that one but this weekend is different. This game was supposed to happen a long time ago but one those little things called a hurricane had it postponed a while back. This line has skyrocketed up from -6 to -9.5 after ESPN played highlights from UCONN's upset win last weekend about 2000 times. Beyond last week, South Florida was a damn good football team. Say they beat UCONN, this line would probably be around 4 or five at gametime. The fact that W. Virginia blew out Pitt last week 45-13 to notch their fifth straight win also has the squares pushing this number up. America seems to be overreacting in my opinion, and USF will come out fired up to atone for last week's mishap. Underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points after a loss facing an opponent off 4+ consecutive straight up wins are an amazing 48-10 (83%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. Don't get sucked in with the suckers.
