West Virginia at Baylor

What can you say about the Baylor Bears offense other than WOW? This was a team that struggled for years in the Big-12. Then RGII changed that. But when he left everyone thought this program would go away as he took the offense with him. That did not prove out as this season's Bears have averaged more yards and points than last year and they are off to an even better start. West Virginia was good offensively a year ago with Geno Smith at QB, but the defense was at or near the bottom of the entire FBS. While they are a bit better this season defensively, they are considerably worse offensively. That's not good when facing a team like Baylor that is improved on both sides. West Virginia won 70-63 a year ago, but Geno Smith is gone, and the Bears' attack is at least as good. Baylor has become nearly invincible at home where they are 15-2 ATS in their last 17. West Virginia is just 5-17 ATS in their last 22 road games vs. very good defenses like Baylors (teams that allow 4.5 or fewer yards per play). Baylor is 20-8 ATS since Art Briles took oer when playing as a favorite.The Bears will be seeking payback here, and have the weapons to do it.
