The Washington Wizards continue their NBA struggles and have opened the season to what is becoming a characteristic 1-9. Their five road losses run the dismal road streak to eight. They managed just 64 points in their last game, but therein lies the caveat. Teams that are off a futile offensive performance have emerged over the years to cover over 65% of the time in their next game, as even the worst of teams rise above the futility.
