Washington at Montreal

The Washington Capitals have taken eight straight to erase a 5-8 performance in their previous 13. This team has played well overall, but has certainly been up and down a lot. The Canadiens are 6-1 in their last seven and in their last five wins they have allowed a grand total of just 4 goals and have been brilliant at home all season long. The Capitals have had trouble with hot defending teams, posting just a 6-13 mark in their last 19 vs. a team allowing 2 or less in their last outing. The Canadiens a perfect 6-0 in their last six vs. the Southeast, so I'll make the play on Montreal in this one.
