Things have gone from bad to worse for the Washington Nationals. They were projected to be the best team in MLB this season, and they are not going to even make the playoffs. Moreover, the frustrations have spilled over into fisticuffs in the dugout, as Jonathon Papelbon went after Bryce Harper for not running out a fly ball. The season can't end fast enough for this time, and they have subsequently dropped six of their last eight. Meanwhile, Williams Perez has turned his season around at 2-1 with a 3.64 ERA in his five September starts. Washington now 3-12 in their last 15 vs. a team that allowed two or fewer runs in their previous game. The Braves have won their last four at home vs. a losing team. Take Atlanta.
