Vanderbilt vs. Northwestern

Bryce Drew has Vanderbilt finishing strong in his first year as head coach of the Commodores, who have won seven of their last nine games and are on a 8-1 ATS run. Vandy comes off a loss to Arkansas while playing its third game in three days and after beating Florida in overtime the day before, and the Commodores are 5-0 ATS after a loss. Matthew Fisher-Davis averages a team-leading 13.6 points and Luke Kornet scored 13.2 points per game. The Commodores are ninth in the country in free throw percentage and #74 in scoring defense (68.1 points per game) and they are 17-4 ATS their last 21 games against teams with winning records. Northwestern is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in its history which puts it in a letdown situation even before playing a game. Now that the euphoria has worn off, the Wildcats have to try and bounce back from a 76-48 loss to Wisconsin in a game where they shot only 34.6 percent and 3-of-14 from three-point range.
