Utah at Arizona

The Utah Utes have won nine games in each of the last three seasons, and appear to be poised to get at least to nine this year as well. This is a team that may lack the explosiveness on offense, but the defense has been strong. Right now Utes are the number #2 in the country against the run, allowing fewer than 50 yards per game. This is problematic for Arizona, who prefers to run the ball first, and they will be hard pressed to win the line of scrimmage with their offense against a tough Utah front seven. Arizona gave up 44 points per game in conference play last season, but have filled some holes and playing at home should help. Utah managed just 19 points in their toughest game at BYU, and I expect them to do a bit better here, but just not enough to push this one OVER the top. The Utes closed last season with three straight to the UNDER, and two of three have been UNDER in 2017. This one finishes UNDER.
