Top pick: #8 (TANGO TANGO) (3-1) - Classier type ships in from Sunland Park where he finished a pace-chasing third on Feb. 19 when facing a bit tougher. On the sidelines since, he was an easy winner here last October facing allowance foes and has a bullet 3-furlong work on April 7th that indicates he's ready to roll.
2nd pick: #2 (Rocky Road) (7-2) - Consistent sort hasn't won in a long time but has been competitive in a half-dozen local starts since returning from an 8 1/2 month layoff on Jan. 1. Fits and should factor again today.
3rd pick: #4 (Thirteengoldhearts) (4-1) - Veteran is (5-0-3-1) here at this level and distance this year and one-run type will be making up ground down the stretch. The faster the pace, the better his prospects.
4th pick: #1 (Aspen Mist) (15-1) - Longshot has the rail and last out he was only a length back of "Thirteengoldhearts" in his best overall siince last Oct. Price play can land in the tri and/or super with just a bit more improvement.
