It was her first since early Sept., and grey daughter of 'Flashy Bull' probably needed the start. She finished second in two of four starts last summer at Assiniboia Downs, and ran against males in three of those appearances. Win candidate a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Cantina Kid) (7-2) - Debuting home bred by 'Lemon Drop Kid' worked a very sharp half-mile here on Feb. 8th. From a very good operation (Mercedes Stables), and trainer Kent Knudsen has won five of 16 at this meet.
4th pick: #2 (My Blue Sky) (2-1) - Well bred filly rallied to finish fourth of 10, beaten a length when debuting here at this level on Feb. 10th. An obvious threat with any improvement, but she's going to be the favorite and is beatable.
