Top pick: #3 (ANGEL DE AMOUR) (5-2) - Gelding by "Bandini" looked sharp in breaking his maiden here on Jan. 27. It was his first start in almost three months, his first at Turf Paradise, and first for trainer Mike Chambers. Working fine since and he's been given almost a six week break by the high-percentage barn.
2nd pick: #1 (Ella's Kitten) (3-1) - Colt also comes off a maiden win here and in his previous start was less than a length off of "Angel." Speed/stalker by "Kitten's Joy" is from the barn of leading trainer Bob Diodoro and enters in career best shape.
3rd pick: #2 (Pentagram) (10-1) - Longshot raced evenly here in a dirt sprint at this levl on Feb. 18 and moves back to the grass which is his best surface. Well-bred colt cost a whopping $750K back in 2011 and is a threat at a big price.
4th pick: #7 (Don'tmesswithkitten) (3-1) - Another by "Kitten's Joy," he's gone 4-1-2-1 on this course and has finished second in both starts here since coming off a seven month layoff on Jan. 22. He has a flexible style and must be left in the mix.
