Top pick: #2 (ELITE BOUTIQUE) (4-1) - Despite her 4-1 morning odds, I think this lightly-raced filly will be bet down to favoritism this afternoon. She rallied to finish second at this tag going 5.5 furlongs on May 3rd and did so despite a troubled start. Race was her first since Oct. 20 and she can take this with an alert break.
2nd pick: #9 (Juan's Babi) (3-1) - She's been competitive in two of his last three going a mile and will be cutting back in distance for this attempt. Fill draws a nice outside post and the faster the pace, the better her chances.
3rd pick: #4 (Paisley Abbey) (7-2) - Home-bred makes her debut for a capable barn (Sarina Obergfell) and is by a stallion "Rocky Bar" who specializes in speed types. Working steadily and he need not be much to impact vs these.
4th pick: #5 (Behrens Affair) (10-1) - Longshot showed little last out, but had some serious issues at the break that cost her any chance. She'd been racing evenly prior to that and could grab a small share at a big price.
