Mare is racing fresh off a Wadre Rarick claim and her new trainer has had a very good meet 48-12-4-12. There's enough speed signed on to make her stretch charge effective once again.
2nd pick: #5 (Secret of Success) (6-1) - Speed/stalker was sent hard from the rail last out in the same last race won by 'To be A Noitted.' Under pressure through-out, she weakened in the final furlong to finish third, 3 1/2 back of that rival. Grey mare moves out in the gate and that's a plus for her.
3rd pick: #1 (Oblivion) (4-1) - Veteran has won 3-of-6 at this meet after coming back from a half-year's absence in early Dec. In shape, she has the rail, and stalker must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Twilightinpriddis) (7-2) - Filly has a fine local record 12-3-4-1 and moves up in class after missing by a 1/2 length racing on March 22nd for an $8000 claiming price. Capable with her very best, but needs to do better at this point.
