Tulsa at Phoenix

Phoenix is home and favored, but not playing well, losing seven of 10. The Mercury is 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 home games, and have been a money burner for a while on a 13-27-1 ATS run overall. Phoenix is the worst defensive team in the WNBA, allowing 83.9 ppg (no other team is allowing more than 79.7 ppg). They failed to cover the last game, a 70-67 win over this Tulsa team on this floor on Friday night. Phoenix also has a new coach in interim coach Russ Pennell, and that was his first game as head coach. The Mercury outscored the Shock 5-2 in the final two minutes and didn't allow Tulsa rookie Skylar Diggins to score in their final possession to secure a 70-67 win in Pennell's debut. They also are dealing with injuries as rookie (and No. 1 overall WNBA pick)  Brittney Griner didn't play again (ankle). She landed awkwardly on her ankle in Tuesday's loss to Seattle and warmed up on Friday, but did not play. Phoenix had 23 turnovers, leading to 19 Shock points. The Mercury is 6-20-1 ATS against a team with a losing record, and Tulsa has a winning ATS mark for the season, plus they are on a 5-2 ATS run undervalued by oddsmakers.
